Surf Lessons
Experience the waves of Tamarindo with a local surf instructor who brings 20 years of experience, passion, and patience to every lesson. Whether you’re standing on a surfboard for the first time or looking to refine your technique, lessons are tailored to all ages and skill levels.
Surf lessons are 1 hour and 45 minutes in length. These are $95 per person if the lesson is private, and $75 per person in small group lessons. Lessons occur on Tamarindo Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica! Cash and Paypal (plus a 4% fee) are accepted.
Lessons include surf board rental plus drinks (water and coconut water).
Surf Tours
Experience the best of Guanacaste’s incredible surf beaches with a local instructor who knows the coastline—and the waves—inside and out. With 20 years of teaching experience, your instructor will pick you up, transport you and your boards, and create a personalized surf adventure based on your skill level, goals, and the day’s conditions.
Whether you’re an intermediate surfer hoping to improve your skills, or an experienced surfer eager to discover new breaks, each outing is customized just for you. More than just a surf lesson, this is an opportunity to explore Costa Rica from the water, discover hidden gems along the coast, and surf with a local who is passionate about sharing his home, his knowledge, and his love of the ocean. His goal is simple: to help every surfer have an unforgettable experience, catch great waves, build confidence, and leave excited to get back in the water.
Surf lessons are 2 hours in the water. These are $120 per person per day. Cash and Paypal (plus a 4% fee) are accepted.
Lessons include transportation from your accommodations, surf board rental, plus drinks (water and coconut water) and fruit.
